Microtech Knives UTX-85 D/E "Steam Boat Willie" Black Aluminum Body w/ Plain Edge Blade (3.1") 232-1SB

Had pre 10/2021 Microtechs. Most models Alhamdulillah. Got rid of them and got a bunch of 2023s and 2024s. Much bigger springs inside and the slider mechanism is adjusted inside. Extra part inside helps. Tore up a 2018 utx-85. thicker parts may, but flimsy spring and worse blade lock springs. I tried the Hera mini 2 and Scarab 2 gen 3. They felt soft. Like knock off soft OTFs. It might be convenient to most, but I always liked the rough sliders. I really appreciate the feel. I'm short. Under 5'6". The slider feels really smooth. Smooth like the duel fuels, but still needs more thumb pressure to release the blade. Which I prefer.
