The SpyMyto™ is a folding knife that sets itself apart from the rest. Developed exclusively for Spyderco by lionSTEEL, it draws its inspiration from the lionSTEEL® Myto™. Crafted with precision, its hollow-ground, drop-point blade is made of M398—an enhanced version of Böhler-Uddeholm’s M390—known for its incomparable hardness and wear resistance. The blade not only features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole but also boasts a removable flipper opener, ball bearing pivot washers, and an exquisitely radiused spine.
Built to impress, the SpyMyto's handle is masterfully designed. On one side lies a linerless green Micarta scale while on the other rests a solid titanium scale. This titanium scale forms the foundation of the knife's robust Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism—a true testament to craftsmanship—complete with a hardened steel interface/overtravel stop. Both scales exhibit meticulously machined textured chamfers and are joined together by a carbon fiber backspacer.
